Order any version of the AL82 alternator to replace a defective unit if you have an alternator conversion installed on your car. If you have a late 1973 or 74 type 1 that was factory equipt with an alternator you can convert to the AL82 alternator to save the expense & hassle of the external regulator used with the AL78 alternator. |
